Product and design strategy leader with 12+ years of experience — from 0-to-1 product launches to large-scale platform and services.
I’m a Managing Director at New_ Public, responsible for identifying our next major bets: turning emerging ideas and technologies into strategies and building the operational model to make innovation repeatable, sustainable, and scalable.
Previously, I led our Local Lab from inception to lift-off, building the team that built Roundabout; stood up our international product partnership, the Public Spaces Incubator; and directed research across our portfolio.
Prior to New_ Public, I led design and research teams at Nava PBC, drove digital transformation efforts for Accenture, and served on the board of Technologists for the Public Good. I started my career as a public servant in San Francisco where I created the city government’s first user-centered digital service: the San Francisco Business Portal.
I have built product teams from scratch, personally led cross-cultural qualitative and quantitative research, facilitated multi-day international workshops, and designed experiences across multiple channels and touch points.
I'm strongest where product strategy, design, research, and policy converge, especially in regulated or high-trust environments where the stakes of getting it wrong are real.
🧩 Some of my work is confidential, but you can review case studies of my favorite projects on the Portfolio page.
✍️ I also write around the web about prototyping, service design, data, and procurement, among other things.
