Launching a Platform for Healthy Local Digital Spaces
New_ Public, Interim Head of Local Lab, 2024–2025
Took over a team at an inflection point and refocused it around product execution — rebuilding the team, shaping the product strategy, and securing $1.8M in philanthropic funding from Ford, Rockefeller, Carnegie, and others. The platform I laid the foundation for, Roundabout, launched in January 2026 and is now live in five pilot communities across the U.S.
Building an International Product Incubator for Public Media
New_ Public, Head of Public Spaces Incubator, 2022–2023
Designed and stood up a $3.6M international product incubator with four public broadcasters across four countries and three languages. Built the team, wrote the strategy, negotiated the partnership agreement, and led the program through its Discovery phase — laying the foundation for a portfolio of nine flagship features now being implemented by partners.
Redesigning Cloud Developer Support
Nava, Service Design Lead
2020
Increased customer satisfaction from 76% to 84% by redesigning the support model for CMS's federal cloud platform — consolidating fragmented channels, building a self-service portal, and establishing the program's first help desk metrics. Four of six recommendations adopted.
Modernizing Budget & Planning Technology
Accenture Federal Services, Service Design Lead
2019
Led a 5-person team through a 12-week engagement to modernize budgeting and planning technology for a federal civilian agency. Conducted 44 interviews across five states and delivered an enterprise strategy, system design specifications, and a prioritized roadmap for implementation in 20+ offices around the country.
Co-Creating a Four-Year IT Infrastructure Roadmap
Accenture Federal Services, Service Design Lead
2019
Led an IT strategy workstream on a $2B federal contract, facilitating four strategic workshops with Office of the CIO leadership to co-create the agency's first formal IT infrastructure strategy — producing a shared vision, strategic objectives, and three prioritized epics for a four-year modernization effort.
Streamlining Government Procurement
City of Boston, MONUM Fellow
2017
Mapped the full procurement process for RFPs over $35K, shipped new features in an RFP-writing tool on a biweekly release cycle, and presented policy recommendations to the Mayor and his cabinet, ultimately helping the city adopt its first standardized technology RFP template.
A User-Centered Approach to Business Permitting
City and County of San Francisco, IS Business Analyst
2014-2015
Built the San Francisco Business Portal, the city's first user-centered digital service for small business owners. Consolidated information from 18 departments and 400+ permits into a new platform that saw 10X the daily traffic of its predecessor. Nominated for a Webby Award; winner of Harvard Bright Ideas Award and five additional national honors.
